Bethany Lee was tired of the hairnet blob hanging out of every ponytail, so she sketched a fix and filed a patent on it. The hats came after — palm handwoven in Guatemala, finished with a leather cord and a braided horsehair band. Show grounds to the street. Not a blob in sight.
